Electronic Rack Corporate Identity with RobertsWeaver

The International division of British Telecom was considered as a separate entity by British Telecom. BTI was an independent supplier of satellite communication technology, as well as trading as an international consultancy to overseas telecoms organisations.

On the back of the work done at the Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station (see INTERIOR section), it was clearly viewed that a distinct appearance of BTI’s own products was required to support their consultancy work.

Based on BICC Vero’s racking systems a nameplate system was devised with its own graphic guidelines, specifically identifying colours, typefaces and panel layouts.
