Welcome to Equinox Partners internet web site. As designers, we thrive on producing ideas and have opinions on everything! It is a display cabinet of the partners work over the years, collectively and individually, and covers the wide range of our disciplines, from graphic and product design through to interiors and packaging.

Equinox Partners is a small, multi-disciplined design resource based just north of the City of London. The two partners, Clare Newton and Michael Taylor, established the business in 1988 on the equal balance of their two backgrounds of graphic and product design. We pride ourselves in our long-term client relationships based on commitment, responsiveness and originality. Whilst covering the staples of graphic and product design, we also find that our clients need exhibitions designing, interiors organising and packaging produced.

Early Equinox Partner’s graphic design clients included Barclays Bank’s Training Division, where we supported the development of staff training materials, and GlaxoWellcome Respiratory Device Technology Group, in which we were responsible for the development of the pharmacetical leaflets packed with each of the world-renowned Diskus Inhalers. At one stage we were producing high-value printed ephemera for far-east royalty!

Product design for hi-fi manufacturer, Musical Fidelity, has been an ongoing feature of Equinox Partners work over the years, working with their electronic and engineering departments in producing original ideas that complement their computer-based, in-house resources.

We also provide an ‘outsourced’ creative design service to support the activities of experienced marketing consultants, FMC International, which provides strategic marketing advice and implementation services to a range of financial services companies in the UK and overseas.

As part of this ‘virtual agency’, we call upon specialist marketeers, copywriters, media buyers, photographers and printers to ensure that our clients receive first class, professional marketing support with significant results.

Clare Newton won the accolade ‘Female Inventor of the Year’ with her ‘CupTake®’ patented drinks carrier and we have several practical packaging ideas in design registration. Boundaries are not barriers, just hurdles to jump over! Ever the artist, multi-talented Clare is currently working on a long term ‘destination’ photographic project in East London.
